Get to know Maura: Maura Busemeyer is a speech-language pathologist with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Ohio State University. Maura brings a well rounded clinical background to her practice, with experience working with both children and adults in a variety of settings including an inpatient rehab hospital, elementary school, and currently A2 Therapy Works. This breadth of experience allows her to approach therapy with a holistic, personalized perspective. She loves having a role in restoring confidence through the trust and bond formed with children she works with. Seeing a transformation is special and reminds her why SLPs matter. Maura is Orton Gillingham trained - a multisensory and evidence based approach to literacy based learning. Outside of work, Maura enjoys traveling, going on long walks, and spending time with family and friends.
