COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN- Updated 1/3/2022
Please find a list of precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of our clients and employees. All of our policies were put in place after close reading and monitoring of CDC guidelines. Due to the rapidly changing nature of the virus and CDC guidelines, these policies are subject to change.
  • All clinicians have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination. Clinicians will continue to receive booster shots as recommended by the CDC.
  • Temperature checks for employees upon arrival each day. Any employee with a temperature over 99 degrees will not be allowed in the therapy area. Any employee who is waiting for a COVID-19 test result or has a positive COVID-19 test result will be staying home.
  • Verbal confirmation of lack of exposure to and symptoms of COVID-19 from all staff, clients, and client’s guardians.
  • All clinicians will wear masks inside the clinic. Table top plastic barriers between the client and clinician & face shields will also be available when necessary.
  • Air purifiers will be in the main office area and in each individual therapy room. Windows in therapy rooms will remain open when possible.
  • Hand washing before and after sessions for all clients and therapists.
  • Frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces.
  • Therapy sessions will be shortened by 5 minutes to allow additional time for cleaning therapy spaces between sessions.
We ask the following of our clients:
  • If you know that you, or a person in your home, has been exposed to or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, stay home.
  • Any clients displaying any of the following symptoms will be sent home: nasal congestion, cough, chills, muscle aches, diarrhea, vomiting, new loss of smell or taste, headache, rash, fever.
  • If a client is displaying cold-like symptoms, we require proof of a negative rapid or PCR test to attend a session. If the client is unable to provide a negative COVID-19 test, they can complete the session via teletherapy or reschedule.
  • Temperature checks for all clients upon arrival to therapy. Any client with a temperature over 99 degrees will not be allowed in the therapy area.
  • Our waiting room is open for families. We continue to ask families to limit the number of people accompanying the client to their session.
  • We ask that only one parent/guardian be in the therapy room with a patient at a time. This individual is required to wear a mask.
  • Clients are not required to wear masks; however, they are highly encouraged.
  • Adults accompanying the client (who enter the building) must wear a face mask and keep the face mask on while in the clinic.
It is our number one priority to keep everyone at our practice safe and healthy. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the office or your clinician directly. We want to do everything we can to help our families feel comfortable.

An additional note on insurance: Individual telehealth coverage varies. If you would like to pursue telehealth services, please contact your insurance company to confirm that  telehealth is a covered benefit on your plan. If your telehealth coverage ended or you do not have telehealth coverage under your plan, you will be responsible for contacting your insurance company to self advocate for continued telehealth coverage.
